Chris Hawkins is a qualified Architect with over 10 years experience in the construction industry.
He studied both Part 1 & Part 2 at Oxford Brookes School of Architecture winning numerous awards for design before becoming fully qualified, whilst working at internationally acclaimed Hopkins Architects. Here he worked on a number of key public and private projects such as the Stirling Prize nominated Olympic Velodrome and the Tom Wheare Music School for the prestigious Bryanston School in Dorset.
He joined dMFK Architects in 2010 and has since led a number of residential developer and end user projects in central and North London from inception to completion as well as work in other sectors such as Offices, Art Gallery’s and other community buildings.
Chris is also a design tutor at Oxford Brookes University with a studio focused on the creative re-use and life extension of existing buildings/structures in our cities whilst pushing a core emphasis on integrating communities and the public realm.
He is a keen traveler who has led student architectural field trips around the world, including recently Denmark and the Netherlands.
Whilst not at work he focuses his attention to any sign of fresh snow in the alps and yet another hill to climb and conquer on his road bike!
