Katie is an ARB registered architect with experience in the retail and residential sectors. She completed her BArch (Hons) (Part I) at Edinburgh College of Art, with First Class Honours, where her thesis project was awarded the Andrew Grant Scholarship Prize for Technology. Following this she studied for DipArch (Part II) while on exchange at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan in Stockholm with a primary focus on emergent technology within Architecture.
On returning to the UK Katie spent three years working as an in-house architectural designer for Tom Dixon, gaining extensive experience in brand orientated design strategies, project management and bespoke product development. She completed her Part III at London Metropolitan University while working on high end private residential projects for Holland Harvey. While there she also used her branding experience to help deliver several Gail’s Bakeries culminating in a series of pop-up cafes at Frieze Art Fair.
Katie has recently joined dMFK and is looking forward to gaining further experience across a range of sectors.
When not at her desk you can find Katie pottering around East London in the search for good coffee, hanging from the top of a climbing wall or indulging her passion for travel, culture and languages with various trips around the world.
