Part II Architectural Assistant
Sian is a Part II Architectural Assistant. Prior to studying architecture Sian completed a degree in Fine Art Sculpture at Wimbledon College of Art. She completed her Part I at the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design, within the London Metropolitan University, and more recently an MPhil in Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Cambridge where she received a distinction for her thesis, ‘Repainting the Industrial Landscape’.
Sian has a particular interest in historical and listed buildings. Her previous experience includes working on a Grade II listed office-to-residential conversion of a prominent ‘Jacobethan’ property in the St James’s conservation area of central London, and she is currently working on a new synagogue and community building in North London.
Outside of work Sian continues to enjoy developing her artistic and creative skills; she is an active member of a local ceramics studio and takes great pleasure in contemporary quilting and making her own clothes.
