Nestle Factory Hayes

Main Project Info

Working for Barratt London, dMFK were selected for the heritage cluster element of Makower Architect’s masterplan. Our role is to restore, reconstruct, renovate, extend and build new structures in and around the 1914 Nestle Factory designed by pre eminent Art Deco factory architect Wallis Gilbert. The main factory is an early, somewhat rudimentary example of the work of the practice but with visible facades at 150m x 150m the factory is a highly recognisable, prominent landmark in the area.

dMFK are collaborating with Makower Architects and Hawkins Brown Architects to create 1400 residential units of which 390 are within the ‘heritage cluster’. These include 3 new large residential buildings with an 11 storey landmark tower.
