Last month, a group of enthusiastic artists from across the dMFK joined an evening painting class at our downstairs studio.

Led by Aly Grimes, founder and studio lead at San Stae, the team swapped their drafting pencils and tracing paper for paintbrushes and canvas to have a go at self-portraits.

Thank you to our host, Aly, for coaching us to create some excellent portraits and helping us enjoy an inspiring evening of art. As an artist, curator and designer with training from the School for Curatorial Studies in Venice, and an MA from Konstfack University in Stockholm, Aly has experience ranging from exhibition projects to design and build schemes across the private residential and commercial sectors.
