MYO New Street Square is a Mix Awards 2025 winner

The refurbishment and extension of 3 New Street Square has transformed the existing Bennetts Associates–designed building into a vibrant, flexible workspace as part of Landsec’s MYO portfolio. dMFK’s design reimagines the 2000s structure for modern use, upgrading services, finishes and amenity spaces to meet evolving workplace expectations while maximising the building’s embodied carbon.

A new 248 sqm pavilion crowns the building, introducing a striking perforated metal façade that complements the original travertine cladding. The pavilion includes an events space and triple-aspect terrace with capacity for over 150 guests, offering panoramic views across the city. Together, these interventions elevate the user experience, support wellness, and reflect Landsec’s commitment to sustainable, future-ready workplaces within the Fleet Street Quarter.

This recognition highlights the potential of retrofit projects to deliver high-performing, design-led environments that respond to both environmental responsibility and occupier wellbeing.
