For the second edition of Discussions, Downstairs at dMFK, we invited friend of the practice Peter Murray OBE for a talk and Q&A as he ramps up his campaign for Mayor of London in 2028.

Murray is keen to hear from voices in the built environment – and especially young people – to inform his manifesto. We brought together representatives from our studio, plus invited guests from across the sector for a breakfast discussion exploring the challenges facing the city and the policies needed to address them.

Covering everything from housing to transport and infrastructure, Murray's deep understanding of the built environment and its intrinsic relationship with the capital made for an insightful conversation.

Peter Murray is one of the built environment sector’s most passionate and effective advocates. A skilled communicator with the better part of half a century of experience supporting the industry – from editing publications such as RIBA Journal and Building Design to founding New London Architecture and the London Festival of Architecture.

We are pleased to support this discussion and bring these key issues to the fore, championing the role of the built environment in the political sphere.

Stay tuned for the next Discussion Downstairs at dMFK.
