Chancery House, completed in 2023, brings a 1950s office building straight into the 21st century, with a series of deliberate interventions to bring light into all floors, craft a mixture of flexible workspaces, and deliver essential amenities.

A unified, modern identity, developed in collaboration with Copenhagen-based Norm Architects, now carries through the entire building. Earthy terracotta tones complement and ground silver highlights, inspired by the history of the building as silver vaults beneath the 1885 Chancery Lane Safe Deposit building.

Julian de Metz spoke to Dan Moscrop, CEO and Founder of Them, for a deep dive into the inspiration behind the design and the ethos carried across dMFK projects.
