dMFK’s transformation of a former gasworks site in Sydenham into an amenity-rich, community-focused neighborhood has been shortlisted in the Housing Design Awards, recognising innovative residential design across the UK.

Designed for Barratt London, dMFK worked closely with Lewisham Council and local stakeholders to design new homes, commercial space, and improved public realm, whilst responding sensitively to the adjacent Grade II Listed Livesey Memorial Hall.

Thank you to everyone on the team who contributed to the scheme’s success. The winners will be revealed by the Housing Design Awards in early autumn.
