Originally built in 1905 as gentleman’s chambers, the building had been dulled by successive fit-outs that eroded its architectural clarity. With no scope to extend, our approach focused on rediscovering the building’s identity and unlocking value through careful re-planning, restoration and material discipline.

Historic fabric was repaired and revealed, while interiors were reshaped to support modern working life. New shared amenities and a hospitality-led club overlooking a planted courtyard create a social anchor within the building, balancing calm, tactile spaces with contemporary comfort.

The completed scheme delivers a fully managed workplace that feels grounded, distinctive and enduring – demonstrating how a sensitive, heritage-led retrofit can meet the demands of today’s office market.
