The brief focused on balancing precision and privacy with a warm, characterful environment that supports collaboration as well as concentrated individual work.
Set within a former car garage in Shoreditch, the 465 sqm studio was designed as a high-performance creative workplace shaped closely around how RASCAL works. The brief focused on balancing precision and privacy with a warm, characterful environment that supports collaboration as well as concentrated individual work.
A series of bespoke post-production suites were carefully planned to meet exacting acoustic, visual and security requirements, ensuring sensitive work remains unseen and undisturbed. These spaces sit alongside more open, shared areas, creating a clear yet fluid distinction between focused production and everyday studio life.
Reclaimed and repurposed elements were used to embed a sense of longevity and craft, reinforcing the studio’s identity while supporting durability and day-to-day use. The completed studio reflects RASCAL’s identity as an artist-led practice – technically rigorous, expressive and built to last.
